What can go wrong?
- User Authentication Failure
This is usually due to either a bad username or bad password submission.
- Try reconnecting, making sure both username and the password are correct.
- If that does not solve the problem, try one of the other troubleshooting tips.
- Connection Failure
This is error can have various causes. To fix the problem:
- Make sure you typed the host name correctly.
- If
a firewall is in place double check the firewall settings, and make
sure the SSH program is being allowed to make outgoing connections on
port 22.
- Intead of typing “ Amadeus.biosci.arizona.edu ” as the host name, type “128.196.124.145”
- Disconnection
This error is caused when the connection between Amadeus and your
computer was lost. Since a lost connections are normally brief, reconnect and try uploading/downloading the file again.
