How to Mount Your Home Folder
All holders of 'Data Analysis & Processing Lab' accounts are given a 'Home' folder to use for storage and file transfers.
Please limit yourself to ~100MB.
This is a service we offer to help reduce data loss, however, we cannot be responsible for your data.
In addition to providing one more place to store copies of important data, the BCF Home folder also allows for simple transfer of files across platforms.
- Mac users in the BSW or LSS buildings can mount the Home folder via the Chooser (AppleShare).
- PC users anywhere on campus can map the Home folder as a network drive via Windows Explorer.
No Zip or floppy disks required!
