Intermediate Perl and Problem Solving is geared toward Life Sciences Researchers who
have a basic background in Perl and need to learn more advanced features. The problem
solving component will address strategies for finding efficient solutions to problems
such as searching for patterns, evaluating available tools, and choosing the best
methods for solving data analysis problems.
When registering for the workshop, participants will be given the opportunity to
describe a data processing problem they would like to solve, and we will evaluate
the scope of each such project and suggest a strategy for solving a reasonable
portion of the problem upon completion of the workshop.
