As of 2018, the ARL BioComputing Facility (BCF) has shifted its focus, and we are now aligned with the UA Data Science Institute (Data7.) Future projects will emphasize Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Data Visualization, and Bioinformatics. For more information, visit the Data7 website: and/or the Genome Analytics site:

Past projects for BioComputing Facility (BCF) have included providing comprehensive computational infrastructure (cyberinfrastucture) for science research projects, including life sciences, health sciences, and physical sciences. BCF strives to facilitate inclusion of computational methods and techniques at various stages of the discovery process across all science disciplines, with the primary aim of simplifying and automating processes through innovation, education and training. Platforms developed by BCF are widely utilized, including Kidenga mosquito disease tracker (including Zika virus), Arizona Smoker’s Helpline:, and Clinical Genetic Testing pipelines
