RNA-Seq Data Analysis in R: From Raw Counts to Differential Expression Analysis

RNA-seq is a powerful method for transcriptomic analysis, enabling the quantification of gene expression across different conditions. This workshop will introduce participants to RNA-seq data analysis using R, focusing on differential gene expression analysis. Starting with raw count data, attendees will learn how to perform normalization, model fitting, and hypothesis testing to identify differentially expressed genes. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the statistical methods behind differential gene expression analysis and practical tips for interpreting the results. Participants will gain hands-on experience with an R demo using tools like limma.
