The CCT Data Science team will continue running the Bayesian Learning Group through summer 2024. The Bayesian Learning Group is a peer learning community that meets biweekly to discuss and work through Bayesian statistics problems. We welcome participants of all levels of familiarity with Bayesian modeling, especially beginners. In summer 2024, we will focus on problems from Chapters 9-13 of Richard McElreath’s Statistical Rethinking, and invite model “show and tell” and guest speakers throughout the semester.

We will meet on Friday afternoons from 2-3, on 5/24, 6/7, 6/21, 7/5, 7/19, and 8/2. To register for the learning group, please fill in the form here.

For more information about the learning group, including notes from past meetings, see the website here and the spring semester wrap-up blog post here. If you have any questions, please reach out to Renata Diaz at cct-datascience@arizona.edu.
